National Herbal Day 2024 : Appreciating Cultural Heritage And Remembering The Dedication of the Empu Jamu


Jakarta - The National Herbal Awakening Day 2024, is an important moment to appreciate Indonesia's rich and diverse traditional cultural heritage. This year, the commemoration is also a moment to remember and honor the outstanding contribution of Dr. Hj. BRA. In addition, the Indonesian World Record Museum (MURI) has also awarded the title of National Master of Herbal Medicine to Ms. Mooryati Soedibyo for her dedication and contribution to preserving and developing the science and tradition of herbal medicine. As the Empu Jamu, Mrs. Mooryati Soedibyo has provided inspiration and example for the younger generation to continue to maintain and develop this cultural heritage.

Mustika Ratu also developed the concept of herbal processing from upstream to downstream by involving assisted farmers for herbal raw materials, known as the JAMUNOMIC concept.
